Frisco started in Klaudyn

Warsaw, June 7, 2019

In Klaudyn near Warsaw a new logistics and distribution centre Frisco.pl has started.

The area of about 11,000 sq.m. is divided into several logistics zones, including, among others: reception, storage and shipping zones served by a special robot that can pack up to 420 crates per hour. This will increase the efficiency of work and the level of control over order picking. Special zones for fresh products have also been created in the warehouse, which will make it possible to expand the assortment of this category.

High automation of the new warehouse will enable, among other things, quick scaling of order processing.

- The launch of the new Frisco.pl magazine proves that the e-grocery market in Poland is growing stronger. On a daily basis we support Polish independent entrepreneurs who run retail stores, and it is for them that we want to gain knowledge and experience in the field of e-grocery - says Pedro Martinho, Member of the Management Board of Eurocash Group. Eurocash Group is a co-owner of Frisco.pl.

In the transaction Eurocash was advised by Colliers International.
