Fashion retailer Zalando has opened a logistics centre in Gardno near Gryfino.

The centre should reach full capacity in two years. Goodman started construction work on the 130,000 sqm centre in August 2016 and the centre is operated by logistics supplier Fiege. “The logistics centre in Gardno is a very important project for us, which will enable us to process more orders for clients from all 15 markets Zalando is present in and particularly in Poland, Scandinavia and Germany,” said Giuseppe Tamola, the country manager for Zalando Poland, Italy and Spain.

The first stage of the construction was completed in August this year, while the larger part of the centre is to start operations in autumn 2018.
