Sanpol has occupied an area of 8,300 sqm for its new logistics centre in a new building with an area of 15,000 sqm in Segro Logistics Park Warsaw, Nadarzyn.
The remaining section of the building was built on a speculatively basis. Sanpol is involved in the distribution of heating, installation and sanitary systems as well as bathroom equipment. The logistics centre in Nadarzyn will be used to supply goods to Białystok, Kielce, Lublin, Radom, Suwałki, Siedlce, Tarnobrzeg, Upper Silesia and the Wielkopolska regions. Around 200 sqm out of the space leased will be used as offices, when Sanpol starts operations from the premises in January.
“The advantage of the logistics park in Nadarzyn is that it not only provides us with the option of leasing a larger area, but, most importantly, it will allow us to optimise our logistics processes and the growing volume of our orders. We can also continue the development of our WMS system, extending it to full storage place management and algorithms that initiate a change in positioning of products in line with a regularly updated ABC analysis,” explains Paweł Kokot, the director of the Sanpol Logistics Centre.
Sanpol has been operating on the Polish market for over 20 years and supplies wholesalers, installation companies, developers and retailers.
“Our services are characterised by a flexible approach to the clients’ needs. Apart from the top quality modern warehouse area we also provide conversion and extension options. Our cooperation with Sanpol confirms that these factors, as well as the location, are some of the key, decisive factors when clients come to choose their premises,” comments Waldemar Witczak, the regional director of Segro.
Segro Logistics Park Warsaw, Nadarzyn, which is situated 20 k southwest of Warsaw’s city limits, is a logistics centre of more than 90,000 sqm, with the potential for being increased up to 120,000 sqm.
