Polomarket leases 30,000 sqm in 7R Park Tczew

Warsaw, January 10, 2020

Supermarket chain Polomarket has leased 30,500 sqm of warehouse space in the 7R Park Tczew logistics complex in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.

The network will lease the park’s third building which is to be tailored for the chain to become the its main distribution centre. It will contain 20,000 sqm of dry storage, 8,000 sqm of cooling storage, 1,500 sqm of frozen storage and around 800 sqm of office space. The building’s height will be a non-standard 10.7m, while the roof structure will be reinforced to support photovoltaic panels. The building will have its own truck wash, petrol station and spacious parking facilities for cars and trucks.

- When deciding on the new warehouse, we were looking for a business partner who could understand our needs and look beyond the market standards to deliver solutions that respond to those needs. It turned out 7R is such a developer and this is why we have decided to develop our third and latest state-of-the-art distribution centre together - explains Mirosław Podeszwik, Polomarket’s co-owner.
