Poczta Polska moves the handling of domestic and international palletized shipments from Warsaw to a new hall in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
The lease of a hall in Grodzisk Mazowiecki with an area of over 5 thousand square meters is to improve the logistics services. Pallet shipments will be directed to a new location without the current Warsaw sorting plant, where the area for parcels, whose number is constantly growing, will increase.
In comparison with last year's data, in the first five months of this year the interest in logistics services of Poczta Polska has significantly increased. Additionally, according to the company's data, the new service of the company, i.e. International Pallet Shipping, which enables delivery of goods to any place in Europe and from Europe to Poland, is becoming more and more popular.
Therefore, the Company wants to change its logistics network in the near future and adapt it to the market, including the growth of international shipments and shipments delivered to Poland from outside the European Union. In the new strategic perspective, it intends to double its parcel revenues by 2023. At the same time, it estimates that in four years the value of the CEP market (courier, express and parcel services) and logistics services in Poland will amount to PLN 10 billion. According to Poczta Polska, in the coming years it will grow at the level of nearly 10% year on year.
- Our experience and logistics potential make us one of the key logistics operators on the Polish market, with an offer of a full supply chain. For this reason, it is important for us to develop the infrastructure dedicated to these services, which will ensure the improvement of customer service - informs Paweł Przychodzeń, Vice-President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska, responsible for logistics.
