This is the first factory of STS Acoustics in Poland, and the decision to invest was motivated by a contract signed with Scania, while the choice of location – by the proximity of the port of Szczecin and the company’s focus on exports to Sweden. STS Acoustics will remain at the facility for no less than 12 years. A special roundabout was built at the site to facilitate logistics and the flow of traffic.
The investment is located at the Międzyrzecz Industrial Park, in the Lubuskie voivodeship. The park is right at the S3 expressway, which is part of the international route E65, a trans-European transport corridor. The facility is as little as 14 km away from the Jordanowo junction connecting S3 and A2 motorway, which is of strategic importance for the new tenant. Moreover, the location along the S3 will feature a dual carriageway connecting to the A4 corridor.
