Goodman Group has completed its second warehouse with a total area of 36,700 sqm in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre, which is situated next to Gdansk’s deepwater container terminal. The centre now has around 88,000 sqm gla.
About 3,500 sqm of the space is still available for lease in the centre. The new building has been 95 pct pre-leased by six third party logistics companies.
“The location of the warehouse near the port and the DCT terminal will complement our comprehensive offer of logistics services. It will also allow for fast and efficient customs clearance,” said Adam Godawski, deputy CEO of Omega Pilzno.
Goodman has also received a building permit for its third planned building in the centre, with a leasable area of 36,000 sqm . According to the developer, the new investment results from the rapid growth of the port of Gdańsk, which has seen freight volumes double over the last ten years.
