The Pomeranian Logistics Centre in Gdańsk is to be enlarged by the addition of a new, 36,700 sqm warehouse.
Five new pre-lease agreements with Polish logistics and transportation firms have already been signed for 21,000 sqm of the space in the class ‘A’ hall, in units of between 3,500 sqm to 5,200 sqm. The remaining 15,700 sqm will be available for immediate lease upon the completion of the construction work in June. When completed, the complex, which is located close to the city’s Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT), will comprise 88,000 sqm of space suitable for port-centric logistics providers.
According to Maciej Madejak, the head of business development for Poland at Goodman, the developer of the PLC: “The Port of Gdansk and the DCT play a vital role in the Trans-European Transport Corridor that connects the Nordic countries with Eastern and Southern Europe. Our property solutions and capacity available at the Pomeranian Logistics Centre are ideal for customers from various sectors and with a diverse scope of operations, who want their businesses to thrive across the continent.”
