Dachser, one of the leading global logistics operators, opened a new warehouse in the Silesian Logistics Centre and moved its Sosnowiec branch to it. The new facility is 80% larger than the previous one and covers an area of over 8,500 m², of which nearly 8,000 m² will be used for cross-docking and contract logistics.

Thanks to the latest investment, Dachser has increased the area of its branch by nearly 4,000 m². Almost one third of the new space, i.e. approx. 2,900 m², is occupied by the cross-dock section, while half of it is used for warehousing purposes. The office space occupies 860 m². In the newly built facility there are 34 ramps, the height of which is adjusted to the Dachser exchange containers. In addition, they are positioned opposite to each other for faster reloading.

The Logistics Centre in Sosnowiec is currently one of the eight Polish locations of Dachser. The remaining branches are located in Stryków, Poznań, Szczecin, Wrocław, Gdańsk and in two locations in Warsaw, one of which is Dachser Air & Sea Logistics.
