One of the two halls to be built in the first stage of Waimea Logistic Park Bydgoszcz has now been completed. This first building – containing SBUs (small business units with both storage and office space) and measuring 9,226 sqm – is 60 pct leased.
Tenants include hygiene product supplier Sutura Med, electrical appliance retailer Euro-Net construction materials distributor SIG and artificial flower importer Decor-Poland. The smallest warehouse modules have areas of 650 sqm with an office and rest module of 60 sqm.
The investor behind the project is a subsidiary of the Waimea Holding group. The groundwork and foundations have been completed on the second, 16,388 sqm hall (B), specially designed for cross-dock logistics operators. The centre will eventually have a built-up area of 90,000 sqm in include six halls designed for production firms as well as those more focused on logistics and warehousing. The complex is located out on a 19 ha plot in the south-eastern part of the city.
