The final stage of the expansion of the Gdańsk-Kowale Logistics Park has now been completed with the addition of an 18,000 sqm building.
The investor is a joint venture between 7R and Hillwood. Tenants of the sixth building in the complex include ESA Logistika and Eastend.pl.
ESA Logistika, which operates in four CEE countries, will occupy more than 4,000 sqm in the complex. “We chose the project due to the good cooperation we have had with the developer, the high quality of the warehouse space available and the convenient location of the logistics park in Kowale. The TriCity is an excellent market for our sector,” commented Dariusz Walczyk, the head of warehouse products at ESA Logistika.
Eastend.pl, an online footwear, bags, backpacks, clothes and accessories retailer, is leasing space from 7R for the first time – almost 2,200 sqm. “Our customers expect that we will deliver ordered products virtually as soon as possible, often on the second day. We also chose the Gdańsk Kowale VI logistics park due to the openness of the developer 7R to our requirements,” explained Paweł Wilk, the deputy CEO of Eastend.pl.
The total area of Gdańsk-Kowale Logistics Park now amounts to 140,000 sqm. “We intend to continue investing in the region and are thinking about a new project in Szczecin,” says Ryszard Gretkowski, the vice-president of 7R.
